I am writing this a couple of days before we begin our Sabbatical adventure and getting very excited! When Mark last had a Sabbatical I was teaching full time so wasn't able to go places with him but this time we can share the experiences together.  A Sabbatical is a wonderful gift from the Methodist church every seven years and one which we greatly appreciate and intend to make the most of.

Both of us pray that this time away from our usual duties and responsibilities will reinvigorate and refresh us and bring us back with fresh vision and enthusiasm for all that God has called us to do here in Devon, nationally and internationally!

A lot of people have asked me to keep them updated about our comings and goings over the next three months so I thought that starting a new blog might be the way to do that.  As and when I get wifi I'll endeavour to post an entry so if you want to read about our adventures do follow the blog!  Now to get on with the final ironing, packing and cleaning before we fly to Australia on Tuesday.  For those worried about the cats, my parents will be staying here to look after them!! 🐱🐱
